Overview
Urban Vision, LGC Public Private Partnership
of the Year 2008, was formed as a joint venture between Salford
City Council, Capita Symonds and Morrison Highways Maintenance. The
first of its kind in the UK, the partnership harnesses the expert
skills from across the property, planning, design and highway
services, bringing together the best from both the public and
private sectors.
Taking pride in being progressive, innovative
and ever-evolving, we strive to lead the market to supply
integrated solutions that meet the absolute requirements of our
ever expanding client base. Increasing staff numbers by 150
since 2005, Urban Vision now has over 500 employees delivering a
wide range of schemes and services; from Building Schools for the
Future to development Ccontrol services for other local
authorities.
Creating sustainable communities is a key
focus for the partnership. Working with and alongside Urban
Regeneration Companies, local businesses and national
organisations, many job opportunities have been established, as
well as the regeneration of key areas within the city.
