On completion of its first year in operation, the Sefton
Strategic Partnership is proud to report the following
achievements;
- Savings to Sefton MBC service costs in excess of £400,000
- Substantial investments in Sefton MBC in the form of training,
mentors, IT and SWORD accounting systems
- 120 staff successfully transferred to Capita Symonds under TUPE
regulations, 17 new appointments made and further recruitment
planned for 2010
- Continued maintenance of all Sefton sea defences
- Completion of Everton View and Poverty Lane footbridges
- Completion of South Sefton 6th Form College
- Completion of Crosby Marine Lake
- Further milestones met towards achieving the Investors in
People (IiP) accreditation, ensuring best business practices for
staff
- Services delivered to Sefton MBC confirmed over and above
contractual requirements, following KPI assessments
- £1,500 raised for charities, 80% of which donated to local
organisations
