Capita Symonds has announced the
acquisition of leading healthcare consultancy Inventures for an
undisclosed sum.
With four UK offices
and more than 100 consultants, Inventures provides programme
and project management, property and estate management, healthcare
planning, and facilities management advice to the NHS and other
public sector bodies across the UK.
The deal will enable Capita Symonds - the UK’s
leader in strategic partnerships with Local Authorities - to
provide a unique full service proposition across health and the
wider public sector..
Inventures is currently providing advice to
125 NHS organisations, helping them to manage their projects and
reduce their costs through better utilisation of property and
efficiencies from their support services. Inventures’ NHS clients
include UCLH (University College London Hospitals), NHS Bristol,
Barnsley NHS Trust, NHS Cornwall, Avon and Wiltshire Partnership
NHS Trust, Somerset Partnership and Royal Free NHS Trust.
The company has also undertaken reviews of
some of the most complex projects in the UK such as London 2012,
Crossrail, and Wembley National Stadium. Government clients include
the Ministry of Defence; Welsh Assembly Government; House of
Commons; Ministry of Justice; the Department for Children, Schools
& Families; Department for Transport; National Archives; and
the Health and Safety Executive.
