Geoff Gibbs from the Environment Agency will describe how
the vital issue of possible flood risk to and from new development
should be managed.
It will discuss the various pieces of legislation and guidance that
influence this topic, technical issues, sustainable surface water
management, and possible future developments.
Gavin Johnson from Capita
Symonds will talk about the implementation of Property Level Flood
Resistance and Resilience measures, in particular those funded
through government grants following a recommendation by the Pitt
Report.
