Central & Eastern Europe

Capita Symonds’ Design & Infrastructure team has worked for a number of private and public sector clients in Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Russia, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia and other CEE countries.

We recently acquired ESA Architects, with an office in Katowice, Poland, giving us an established presence in the region and enabling us to provide a world-class multidisciplinary service delivered locally to our clients.

Additionally, Capita Group, the UK’s largest business process outsourcing (BPO) provider and the most successful member of the FTSE 100, with 2010 turnover of £2.7 billion, is establishing a multiclient centre in Kraków, Poland. It is planned to have 500 staff in place by the end of 2012.

Recent projects have included multidisciplinary engineering and project management services for the new Ferencvaros Football Club Stadium in Budapest, Hungary, and master planning/landscape design for the Park City mixed use development in Moscow, Russia.

Additionally, we have developed a major master plan for the dock area in Szczecin, Poland (pictured), and masterplans for resort and mixed use developments in Azerbaijan and Montenegro.

We have provided building services design and health and safety advice to ExxonMobil in Prague, Budapest and Warsaw, delivered PPP technical advice on the D1 Motorway in Slovakia, designed road and utility tunnels in Croatia and Romania, and provided architectural design and health facilities planning for a new private/VIP maternity hospital for the Kuban Peri-Natal Centre in Krasnodar, Russia.
